FAQ

Fat Santa Max Win FAQ: Why the Slot Prints No Ceiling

In short: Fat Santa is a Push Gaming slot with no published maximum win: the demo client, its configuration and the studio's page all stop short of a ceiling, and the maker's only figure is an observed 3,844x.

Look up the biggest payout this game can make and four different numbers come back. None is a ceiling the maker has declared, and the one prize its paytable does state is 20 times the bet on a single line.

No Ceiling on Fat Santa's Screens

Fat Santa has no published maximum win, and we checked every place we could read: the GAME INFO and PAYTABLE screens, the demo's shipped configuration, its language file and the studio's page. The GAME INFO screen runs through the rules and ends with the return to player, the Bonus Buy return and two version numbers. No maximum-payout line anywhere on it. The platform configuration shipped with the demo carries a setting called rulesShowMaximumPrize, and its value is false.

Read on ; the maker can change a screen without saying so.

That switch is the detail worth keeping. A setting whose job is to show the maximum prize exists in the build. It has been turned off. The language file shipped with the client even carries the sentence "The maximum payout per game round is %1 the current bet amount", with no number filled in. So the blank on the screen comes from the configuration, not from a forgotten line of text. What value it would show if switched on, nothing we could read reveals.

3,844x: An Observed Win, Copied

The studio's single figure is "HIGHEST OBSERVED WIN 3,844x". The same 3,844x stands on Push Gaming's page for Fat Rabbit, a sibling released in March 2018. Two games sharing a record to the last digit reads like a template value, not a measurement. Same digits, two games. The resemblance runs further. Fat Rabbit's page matches the grid (5x5, 50 paylines) and both return figures, 96.45% and 94.15%. Among the figures, only the volatility word differs: High there, Mid - High here.

Even taken at face value, observed means that a spin once paid that much. It marks a floor under what has happened, not a roof over what can. At the 100.00 top bet the figure would be 384,400.00 in credits, a number worth repeating only with the word observed glued to it.

Catalogues Split by 60%

Game catalogues fill the gap with two incompatible numbers, 6,400x (some print 6,405x) and 10,233x, and the larger is 60% above the smaller. Neither appears on the game page, the paytable, the GAME INFO screen or anywhere else Push Gaming publishes that we could read. Not one.

The studio page confirms neither figure, and the catalogues contradict each other as well as the maker. A gap of 60% between two sources describing one game is not rounding. We do not recommend quoting either number as the game's maximum.

A page that gives Fat Santa a ceiling without saying who printed it has guessed.

A Stated Top Prize: 20x the Bet

The paytable does state a top line prize of 20x the bet. Five elves on one line pay 10.00 at a 0.50 bet. The paytable lists five Fat Santas at the same 10.00, though Santa lands only on reel one in the base game and no screen we read explains how that line forms. Per line, mind. That is a per-line figure, though, and the game's 50 fixed lines add up. When several lines win on the same spin, the total can pass 20x, and the paytable prints no number for that sum.

Bigger totals come from the features that put extra wilds on the grid. In Free Games a growing Fat Santa stays on the reels and walks to every pie that lands, getting bigger each time the meter fills. The Sleigh Feature drops Christmas Pies that lock in place as wilds. The client prints no cap for either feature. That is why the 20x line prize can't be read as a ceiling for a whole spin, let alone a round.

Our Best Rounds: 41x Natural, 126x Bought

Our best natural result in 96 demo spins on was a Free Games round of 20.62 at a 0.50 bet, which is 41x. A round we bought later that day paid more: 63.06, or 126x the bet, for a price of 40.00.

Each of the three natural rounds ran to eight spins: the opening five plus three from one meter fill. None of them reached the second fill, worth two more spins. Short rounds, all three. So our 41x came from the shortest version of the bonus that a meter fill allows. It shows what an ordinary round looks like. About the top of the range, 96 spins can't say anything. The Sleigh Feature fired three times, with four, four and three pies, and paid nothing at all.

The 126x belongs in a different column. It was a purchase priced at 80x the bet, so it returned 63.06 on 40.00 spent. That round ran to 10 free spins, the meter took 9 pies and Santa grew to 3×3, the second fill. The other purchase returned 13.50 on the same price. Two buys, then: 80.00 out, 76.56 back. Neither the 41x nor the 126x says anything about a ceiling, because three natural rounds and two bought ones are five results against a figure nobody prints.

Where Every Max-Win Figure Falls Short

Every number offered as Fat Santa's maximum is weak evidence, and a reader who trusts one loses the yardstick for judging the game. Take the studio's 3,844x first. It is labelled observed, it sits unchanged on the Fat Rabbit page, and the page prints it with no bet or date beside it. Nobody outside the studio can check a record like that.

The catalogues are weaker still. Their 6,400x and 10,233x arrive without a source, disagree with each other by 60%, and appear on no Push Gaming surface we read. Pick the larger one and the arithmetic flatters the game: at a 0.50 bet it implies 5,116.50 in credits. Our best bought round paid 63.06. Our best natural one paid 20.62.

What does trusting the big number cost? Mostly a wrong sense of proportion. Set against 10,233x, the 80x Bonus Buy looks like a ticket to nearly 128 times its own price, and nothing the game prints supports that ratio. Our two purchases returned 76.56 on 80.00.

An observed win is a record from play; a maximum is a rule in the maths. Records move when somebody hits bigger. A declared cap would sit in the rules and bind every spin, which is exactly the line the client leaves switched off. So the honest answer stays short: no ceiling is printed, and any figure in its place belongs to someone other than the game. Quote each with its source attached, or not at all.

The largest result a studio reports having seen; Push Gaming gives 3,844x for Fat Santa and for Fat Rabbit alike.
Line prize
What a single win line pays; the top one here is 10.00 at a 0.50 bet, 20x the stake.

What Else Do Readers Ask?

Nearly every question about Fat Santa's top payout runs into the same wall: the maker never states one. The answers below say which figure comes from where, using the demo client, its shipped configuration, Push Gaming's game page and our 96-spin session.

What is the max win on Fat Santa?

The max win on Fat Santa is not published: the client shows no ceiling, the config switches it off, and Push Gaming gives only an observed 3,844x.

Is 3,844x a cap on payouts?

No, 3,844x is labelled "highest observed win", a record of past play rather than a cap, and the identical figure appears on Push Gaming's Fat Rabbit page.

Where do 6,400x and 10,233x come from?

Game catalogues print those two figures, not Push Gaming; they disagree with each other by 60%, and both sit above the studio's observed 3,844x.

What do five elves pay at 0.50?

Five elves pay 10.00 at a 0.50 bet, 20x the stake and the highest line prize the paytable prints; it lists five Santas at the same figure.

Can several lines pay on one spin?

Yes, the game's 50 fixed lines add up, so several winning lines on one spin can pass 20x the stake; the paytable gives no figure for that combined total.

Which single free spin paid most?

The best single free spin we logged paid 28.80 (57.6x), inside our first bought round; within the 96 paid spins the best was 9.02, or 18x.

Does the Bonus Buy lift the payout limit?

No, nothing we read ties the Bonus Buy to any payout limit; the purchase costs 80x the base bet and carries a printed return of 96.59%.

How did we check for a published cap?

The check covered the demo's GAME INFO and PAYTABLE screens, its shipped configuration and Push Gaming's game page, all read on ; none names a maximum.
