Fat Santa Demo: How Push Gaming's Free Slot Plays
In short: Fat Santa's free demo is the full Push Gaming client played with FUN credits behind an 18+ gate on the studio's own site, and it shows only the 96.45% build of a game the maker lists at two returns.
You get 1,000.00 FUN credits, a 0.50 starting bet and every rules screen, free, on the maker's own site. What you don't get is the second RTP build or any maximum win figure.

What the Fat Santa Demo Gives You
The studio's demo is the full game client run on play money. It carries the complete paytable and every rules screen, and the balance starts at 1,000.00 FUN credits instead of cash. These are the settings as we found them.

The Game Info screen adds two house rules worth knowing before a long session. An unfinished round resolves itself after 48 hours, and a malfunction voids all pays and plays.
Opening the Studio's Demo
The demo opens from Push Gaming's own game page. Confirm that you are over 18, press Play Game, and the client loads in a pop-up with a 1,000.00 FUN balance. Before the first spin an intro screen names the two features: growing wilds and random wilds.
We can't put the game on this page. The studio's launcher gives each visit a one-time token, so a copy embedded here would fail for the next reader. This page points to the studio instead, to Push Gaming's own Fat Santa page at pushgaming.com, where its age gate stays in front of the game.
That detour costs one click.
The free version on the maker's site is, in our view, the right first stop for anyone, wherever they live. Every rules screen the demo shows is readable there before anything is at risk. The one rule it switches off, the maximum payout, is missing there too.
Twelve Bets on 50 Fixed Lines
The bet ladder has 12 steps: 0.25, 0.50, 0.75, 1.00, 2.00, 3.00, 5.00, 10.00, 20.00, 30.00, 50.00 and 100.00. You set a total bet only, because the 50 lines are fixed.

The top of the ladder climbs fast. From 30.00 it jumps to 50.00 and then to 100.00, and one spin at the top costs 400 times a spin at the bottom.
Every paytable figure scales with the bet you choose; the screen says its wins are "valid for the current bet". At 0.50 the best line reads 10.00 for five elves; the paytable lists five Santas at the same figure without saying how that line forms. Move to 1.00 and the same line reads 20.00, which is still 20x.
Autoplay Needs a Loss Limit
Autoplay won't start until you choose a loss limit. The client offers 10, 20, 50, 100, 250, 500 or 1,000 spins. The loss limit comes in five steps between x5 and x100 the total bet, and a single win limit can be added or left off.

At 0.50 the widest setting, x100, lets autoplay lose 50.00 before it stops. The tightest, x5, stops it at 2.50.
That's a tight stop.
There is no turbo switch either, and the demo build holds each spin for at least 2,500 ms. A thousand autoplay spins therefore take at least 2,500 seconds, close to 42 minutes. That pace is deliberate friction, and we think it's the right default for a game this easy to leave running.
What the Demo Leaves Out or Flatters
The demo runs only the higher of Fat Santa's two returns and flatters the player in smaller ways. Its numbers need discounting before they mean much. The return comes first. The client prints one figure, 96.45%, while the studio page shows 96.45% and 94.15% side by side under the line "RTP's may vary per casino". The free client can't show you the 94.15% build. The studio says the running figure appears on the loading screen and in the user panel; in its demo neither showed one, while the Game Info screen printed 96.45% before the first spin.
The flattery is quieter. A 1,000.00 FUN balance at 0.50 covers 2,000 base spins, so a cold streak costs nothing and the 40.00 Bonus Buy gets pressed on a whim. Our own run ended 24.54 up, a result 96 spins can't separate from luck. The Bonus Buy screen's 96.59%, 0.14 points above the base game, also belongs to the 96.45% build. Whether the 94.15% build keeps it, we have not seen published anywhere.
We do not recommend assuming any copy runs 96.45% without opening its Game Info screen, the one screen where the demo printed the base-game figure. A copy on the 94.15% build is something we never saw on screen.

| Item | In the demo | Elsewhere |

| Bonus Buy RTP | 96.59% | printed on the Bonus Buy screen |
| Maximum win | not shown | studio page gives an observed 3,844x |
| Hit rate | not shown | published nowhere |
| Volatility | not shown | studio page says "Mid - High" |
| Versions | 2.24.0 and 10.21.6 | server and client, dated 26-10-2026 |
Treat the free version as a rules reader and a feel test. It isn't a promise about any paid copy of the game.
Ninety-Six Free Play Spins
Our own run was 96 paid spins at 0.50, all inside the studio's free client, on . The balance went from 1,000.00 to 1,024.54. Free Games arrived three times, on spins 61, 94 and 96, and every round ran to eight spins.

Without those three rounds, the base game returned 26.66 on 48.00 staked. The Sleigh Feature fired three times and paid nothing. That's the honest limit of a free session. Ninety-six spins measure nothing about a 96.45% return, and our small gain was luck.
A session like this is good for watching the trigger happen and seeing how the pie meter adds spins. It also shows how quiet the base game can be between rounds.
Before Any Real Stake
The demo is where we'd stay until three checks are done. Gambling law differs from one country to the next, so the first is what the law where you live allows. The second is a site licensed there, its licence number found in that regulator's own register.
The third is that copy's Game Info screen.
It printed 96.45% in the demo, and it's the screen to read again on any paid copy before the first spin.
FUN credits never turn into money, there is nothing to deposit, and nothing to withdraw. If play stops feeling like a pastime, Gambling Therapy offers free advice and one-to-one online sessions, and Gamblers Anonymous runs free meetings in person, online or by phone.
Key Terms Used on This Page
- FUN credits
- The demo's play money; the balance starts at 1,000.00 and has no cash value.
- Total bet
- The only stake control in Fat Santa; the lowest of its 12 levels is 0.25 and the highest 100.00.
- Loss limit
- The autoplay stop that must be set before a run; at a 0.50 stake the x100 option means 50.00.
- Minimum spin time
- The 2,500 ms the demo build waits on every spin; with no turbo switch, nothing shortens it.
- RTP
- Return to player; the free client prints 96.45% for the base game and 96.59% for the Bonus Buy.
This site takes no deposits and runs no identity checks; both stay off it entirely.
What Else Do Readers Ask?
Practical questions before opening the free version, answered from the client's own screens and our session on .
Do I need an account to play for free?
No, the studio's free version asked only for confirmation that we were 18 or over; we registered nothing and entered no payment details before it loaded.
Is the Bonus Buy available in the free version?
Yes, the free client shows the Bonus Buy screen with a BUY button, priced at 80x the base bet, which is 40.00 FUN at the default 0.50.
What happens to an unfinished round?
Unfinished rounds are settled automatically once 48 hours pass, according to the Game Info screen of the free client we opened on .
Why is there no maximum win in the rules?
The maximum payout line is switched off in the platform settings that ship with the demo, so the Game Info screen simply has no such row.
How do we test the demo?
Testing meant one session of 96 paid spins at the default stake, every result logged, and each Game Info, Paytable and Autoplay screen read in full.
