Where to Play Fat Santa Slot: Checking a Site in 7 Steps

In short: Fat Santa for money depends on the law where you live: only a site licensed there qualifies, its licence number should check out in that regulator's own register, and Push Gaming's free demo needs none of that.

Seven checks sort a copy of Fat Santa worth trusting from the rest, and each one rests on a public register, a rules screen or a help service. No casino is named here, and none is recommended.

Note: Seven steps, each backed by a public document or a screen anyone can open, and none needing an account or a deposit.

The Steps, in Order

Follow these steps in order; each one is a single action with the control it uses.

  1. Step 1: Check the law where you live
  2. Step 2: Choose a site licensed where you live
  3. Step 3: Look up the site's licence number
  4. Step 4: Cross-check the studio
  5. Step 5: Read Game Info before staking
  6. Step 6: Try the studio's free demo first
  7. Step 7: Set limits and note where help is

Step 1: Check the Law Where You Live

Gambling rules differ from one country to the next. Find out on your own government's or regulator's site whether online slots may be played for money at all.

Step 2: Choose a Site Licensed Where You Live

A licence from another authority answers a different question. Only your own regulator's licence brings its rules with it.

Step 3: Look up the Site's Licence Number

Copy it from the site's footer and search it in that regulator's public register. The name, the number and an active status should all match.

Step 4: Cross-Check the Studio

Account 54984 in the Gambling Commission register returns Push Gaming Holding Plc. Three Push Gaming companies hold Swedish software licences valid to .

Step 5: Read Game Info Before Staking

Open the client's Game Info screen and note the RTP. The demo printed 96.45%, while the studio also lists a 94.15% build.

Step 6: Try the Studio's Free Demo First

Open Fat Santa on pushgaming.com, confirm you are over 18 and press Play Game. You spin with 1,000.00 FUN credits that have no cash value.

Step 7: Set Limits and Note Where Help Is

Pick an autoplay loss limit between x5 and x100 the bet. Keep Gambling Therapy and Gamblers Anonymous to hand; both are free.

Start with the Law Where You Live

Local law decides whether Fat Santa may be played for money, not the game and not its maker. Gambling rules differ from one country to the next.

Some places license online slots. Others license only betting or poker, and some license nothing online at all. Your own government's or regulator's site gives the answer in plain terms, and it's the first thing to read.

If the answer is no, the studio's free demo in step six is the whole of Fat Santa you'll see. That's less of a loss than it sounds, since every rules screen opens there.

A Site Licensed Where You Live

Only a site licensed by your own regulator plays under the rules written to protect you. A licence from another authority says that one body checked the company, which is a different promise.

That choice matters more for this slot than for most. Push Gaming lists two builds, 96.45% and 94.15%, beside the note "RTP's may vary per casino", so whichever site you pick also picks the build you get.

Look the Licence up Yourself

A licence number in a footer is a claim, and the regulator's register is the check. Copy the number, open the register on the regulator's own site and search by number rather than by name.

Names drift.

Push Gaming's own footer calls its British company "Holding Limited", while the register says Plc. When the two disagree, trust the register. Three details should line up: the company, the number and an active status. If the search returns nothing, stop there.

Push Gaming in the Registers

Push Gaming, the studio behind Fat Santa, shows up in two registers we could read and a third we could only quote. These licences cover the company that builds the game, though, and say nothing about any site that offers it.

The British entry is the firmest. Licence 054984-R-332139-013 covers Gambling Software and Game Host (Casino), active since , with Gaming Machine Technical Software added on and an address in Ta' Xbiex, Malta. Sweden lists Push Gaming Product Limited, Push Gaming Malta Limited and Push Gaming Limited, each marked Aktiv.

The same lookup works for any supplier. Evolution and Playtech, for comparison, both appear in the Swedish file, so an empty result for a studio means something. We could not open the Malta register without a browser, and the MGA number rests on the studio's footer alone.

Read Game Info Before Staking

The Game Info screen is where Fat Santa shows which build is running, and it's worth opening before the first stake. In the studio's demo it read "The theoretical average return to player (RTP) is 96.45%" before we had spun once.

Catalogues95.28%, 90.51%, 94.18%not printed by the studio

The maker says the running figure also appears on the loading screen and in the user panel. In its own demo neither showed one. The gap between the builds is 2.30 points, which on paper is 2.30 more kept per 100.00 staked, and what a 94.15% copy prints on that screen we have not seen.

We do not recommend staking on any copy of Fat Santa whose Game Info screen you haven't opened. It's one tap, and it is also where you'll notice that no maximum win is printed anywhere in the client.

Try the Studio's Free Demo

The free demo on Push Gaming's own site is where we'd start with Fat Santa, wherever you live. The game page asks you to confirm that you are over 18, and Play Game then opens the client in a pop-up with 1,000.00 FUN credits and a 0.50 starting bet.

We can't embed it here. The studio's launcher hands each visit a one-time token, so you go to the maker's Fat Santa page at pushgaming.com instead, and its age gate stays in front of the game.

Our own 96 spins there brought Free Games three times, on spins 61, 94 and 96. The base game alone returned 26.66 on 48.00 staked. A run that short measures nothing about a 96.45% return, so read it as a feel for the game and nothing more.

Set Limits, Know Where Help Is

Limits belong before the first spin, not after a bad run. Fat Santa's autoplay won't start without a loss limit, set from x5 to x100 the total bet, so at 0.50 it stops somewhere between 2.50 and 50.00 down.

Two free services work across borders.

Gambling Therapy, run by the charity Gordon Moody, offers advice, emotional support and one-to-one online sessions at no cost. Gamblers Anonymous holds meetings in person, online and by telephone, with no dues or fees.

If neither feels right, start by telling someone you trust. Closing the demo while it's still fun is a perfectly good result.
